INTERN TRACKS

Choose from five specialized tracks, each offering distinct learning outcomes and hands-on experience in applying holistic nutrition principles to real-world practice. Students can also do a cross-functional comprehensive practice track that blends different tracks into one comprehensive experience. 

Content Creation

Develop evidence-based educational content that translates holistic nutrition science into clear, actionable guidance for diverse audiences. Learn to communicate The Nourish Center's five pillars of well-being through multi-platform content including videos, blogs, social media, newsletters, and patient resources.

Ideal for: Students interested in nutrition communications, holistic health education, public health content.

Program Development

Design structured wellness programs rooted in functional nutrition and integrative health principles. Learn to create transformation programs, challenges, and daily protocols that address root causes and guide participants through sustainable lifestyle change across all five pillars of well-being.

Community Engagement

Bring holistic nutrition education into communities through live and virtual wellness experiences. Learn to plan workshops, cooking demonstrations, and wellness events that introduce participants to integrative nutrition approaches. Build partnerships that expand access to holistic nutrition education. Learn event planning, nd more.

Client Care

Gain exposure to the clinical aspects of holistic, functional nutrition practice. Observe and conduct client consultations using root-cause and whole-person approaches, learn documentation systems for integrative care, develop functional nutrition protocols, and contribute to evidence-based patient care that addresses our five pillars of well-being.

Spring 2026 Term: January 12 - April 27, 2026

Location: Fully Remote

Position Type: Unpaid (Undergraduate or graduate credit eligible)

How It Works:

Step 1: Choose your commitment level

  • Bronze: 10 weeks

  • Silver: 12 weeks

  • Gold: 15 weeks

Step 2: Tell us how many hours per week you're available

Step 3: We create a custom project plan just for you based on your schedule, interests, and chosen tier. The longer your commitment, the deeper your project experience!

Requirements:

  • Attend at least 2 mentorship meetings per month (scheduled Mon-Fri, 10 AM–6 PM EST)

  • Minimum of 100 total hours across your internship term

Ideal Candidate:

Students (Nutrition, dietetics, wellness, communications or related field) OR healthcare professionals (dietitians, nutritionists, nurses, trainers, health coaches) looking to expand their knowledge and application of holistic health and nutrition

Self-directed and able to manage flexible deadlines

Strong communicators who can work effectively in a remote environment
