The Nourish Center (TNC) is a private practice founded by Registered Dietitian-Nutritionist Shanon Whittingham, MS, RDN, CDN. We offer programs that are anchored in holistic nutrition. Our approach uses a combination of nutrition, exercise, sleep, and mindfulness to help you improve your health. Many health issues affect women more commonly than men. Depression, anxiety, obesity, and hormonal issues are higher in women than in men. We believe women can reverse many health conditions, and rely less on conventional medication, by building healthy habits that become a part of their lifestyle. We help women get to the root cause of their health issues, all while improving their overall well-being along the way.

Welcome! I am so glad that you are here. I empower my clients to take a holistic approach to health that allows them to heal from the inside, out. Did you know that vitamin D can help with depression? Or the health of your digestive system can influence your weight and mood? It sure can! Rather than focusing on one part of your body, a holistic approach involves looking at how your mind, body, and spirit impact your health.
My goal is to help you overcome your weight, mood, or digestive health problems, all while improving your overall well-being along the way. At TNC I offer a variety of services ranging from free online content, group sessions, and private 1-on-1 counseling to help you nourish from within.

The Nourish Formula includes what TNC believes are the pillars of health. If you improve your nutritional status, engage in joyful movement, get quality rest, and practice mindfulness your overall health will be improved.
Food and supplements contain vitamins, minerals, and phytonutrients that can balance hormones or disrupt health. Through personalized nutrition, I teach you the value of food as medicine.
I encourage you to move your body in ways that are enjoyable for you. Exercise is not just about training or heart fitness, but exercise improves your happiness, energy levels, and health.
Sleep deprivation can affect your health in as little as two days. It can cause inflammation and stress hormones in your body to rise. I'll encourage you to get rest and improve your quality of sleep.
