Job Title: Virtual Registered Dietitian

Hourly Rate: $33–$43/hour (based on experience)

Location: Fully Remote (Must be licensed in New York State)

Schedule: Monday through Friday (flexible hours)

Position Type: 1099 Contractor (Part-time, with potential to grow)

About The Nourish Center

The Nourish Center is a growing holistic health and nutrition private practice specializing in metabolic health. Through our signature holistic health framework, we support individuals via virtual 1:1 sessions, group programs, and more. We're hiring Registered Dietitians as independent contractors. New grads are welcome! This role offers flexibility with the potential to grow into a full-time position as your caseload builds.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct weekly or biweekly nutrition counseling sessions using an evidence-based, client-centered approach
Lead with empathy and compassion to build trust and rapport
Help clients identify root causes of health concerns and support sustainable behavior change
Maintain high professional and ethical standards, including confidentiality
Complete timely documentation (clinical notes, communication, care coordination)
Stay informed on current evidence and trends in nutrition
Participate in monthly team meetings and case reviews

Ideal Candidate

Credentialed Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) through CDR
Licensed in New York State (CDN required)
Passion for holistic, functional, and lifestyle-based care
Comfortable with telehealth and virtual communication
Organized, punctual, and self-directed
Compassionate, growth-oriented, and collaborative
Willing to commit to a minimum 6-month role (required)
Open to growing into a more permanent or full-time role (a plus)
Due to the time and administrative investment involved in onboarding and to get you credentialed with insurance, we require a minimum 6-month commitment to this role. Please only apply if you are able and willing to commit to working with The Nourish Center for at least six months.

Skills & Qualifications

Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems and tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Zoom)
Strong communication and time management skills
Able to work independently and within a remote team
Active professional liability insurance (support available if needed)
Experience in metabolic health, functional medicine, or coaching (a plus)
Prior experience in metabolic health, integrative and functional medicine , or coaching a plus!!
