Appointments
These policies help ensure quality care, legal compliance, and the smooth operation of your nutrition program. We send reminders for required forms, payments, and upcoming appointments.
All required documents must be completed before your session. If you have any incomplete forms this may lead to the cancellation of your appointment.
Sessions cannot be scheduled or completed if you have any unpaid or pending invoices. If you have a session scheduled and an unpaid invoice your upcoming session may be at risk of being cancelled if the invoice is not paid before the day of your session.
A $75 no-show fee applies if you miss your appointment or change it within 24 hours of the start time.
The Nourish Center's approach is a holistic, personalized, and sustainable method to optimizing health, particularly metabolic health. It integrates your nutrition, exercise, sleep, mental health, spiritual health, and lifestyle to help you build habits that last.
At its core, our approach focuses on four core values:
🌿 Holistic Education – Providing practical, science-backed guidance that nurtures the body, mind, and spirit. ⚖️ Sustainable Stewardship – Encouraging gradual, realistic changes that fit into daily life for long-term success. 💛 Individualized Care – Creating personalized strategies based on each person's needs, preferences, and goals. ⏳ Empathetic Gradualism – Supporting change at a compassionate, realistic pace to prevent overwhelm and burnout.
Rather than just quick fixes, we empowers clients with knowledge, tools, and support to take control of their health from the inside out.
📝 Complete Forms – If we sent you any forms before your appointment, please complete them so that we can provide the best possible care.
📗 Get a Journal – Get a notebook to jot down notes, tips, and goals that you can refer to daily. Having everything organized will help you stay on track!
🇺🇸 Travel Notice – If traveling out of state, let us know in advance. State regulations may prevent your practitioner from seeing you during your trip, requiring a reschedule.
🚘 No Driving During Sessions – For safety and insurance reasons, appointments cannot be conducted while driving.
💰 Appointment Policies – You can modify your appointment up to 24 hours in advance. If you reschedule, cancel, do not show up, or arrive 15+ minutes late, you will be charged a $75 fee, as we are unable to offer your spot to a patient on our waitlist in such short notice. Thank you for your understanding!

The initial appointment will act as your opportunity to go over what you’re looking for and your overall goals with your dietitian. We typically are unable to offer additional calls with the dietitian prior to the intake appointment, but in select cases, we may be able to set up a 15-minute introductory call with the dietitian you are considering prior to the first appointment. Please reach out to info@thenourishcenter.com if you are interested in pursuing this.
You can check all of your upcoming appointments through our patient portal by signing in here and going to the "Upcoming Sessions" tab.
Some states require a dietitian to have a state-specific license in order to see patients. For confirmation on whether or not your dietitian can see you while traveling, it is best to discuss this with your dietitian directly.
