Insurance Coverage
Your insurance may cover 100% of the cost of your nutrition sessions with a dietitian as long as you have a referral from your doctor.
Out-of-Network Coverage
Even if you are out-of-network, your sessions may be covered —many members get up to 70% reimbursed.
FSA/HSA
Many of our members use FSA/HSA to pay for sessions, membership fees, and supplements.
All About Insurance
USING INSURANCE
Depending on your health insurance plan, your nutrition sessions may be fully covered, partially covered, or not at all. The Nourish Center is in-network with Aetna, Metroplus Health, United Healthcare, Cigna, Golden Rule, Optum, Oxford, and United Medical Resources (UMD). It is your responsibility to contact your insurance company to verify what is covered. If you have any questions regarding your insurance coverage, please direct them to our billing staff at info@thenourishcenter.com.

Due to licensure laws, nutrition counseling is available only to clients residing in certain states. Currently, these states include: New York, New Jersey, Michigan, Arizona, California (requires doctor referral), Connecticut, Massachusetts, Texas, Ohio, Arkansas, Wisconsin, Oklahoma, Colorado, Hawaii, Indiana, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Utah, Virginia, and Wyoming. If you are out of these states we are unable to provide nutrition counseling, however you are welcome to receive our health coaching services, which are available to anyone globally.
USING YOUR OWN MONEY
You can choose to pay for your sessions using a credit card, debit carb, or FSA/HSA card. Additionally, many plans offer out-of-network benefits that may reimburse you for nutrition counseling. Reimbursement will depend on several factors determined by your health insurance plan. Superbills are invoices that may be submitted to your insurance company for reimbursement. We do not automatically generate superbills unless you request, but we are happy to generate one upon request. You can submit a written request by emailing info@thenourishcenter.com
